The 7^th and 8^th graders going to Washington DC will be selling flip flops (ones with thing between the toe) and slider sandals for their last fundraiser for the trip.  They are both $20 and will be on sale until next Thursday March 21^st.  Payment is due at that time.  If you would like to order contact a 7^th or 8^th grader or contact Holly McCombs at hmccombs@sels.us.

The Southeastern Science Fair was held on February 12t^h after school in the cafeteria.  There were 18 middle school students who participated with projects that ranged from different types of gasoline to designs of bridges.  The following students participated: Chase B., Joseph S., Madison C., Caitlyn F., Josh P., Logan G., Justin L., Sydney L. Maecen S., Colleen S., Erica C., Leah R., Taylor R., and Julie M.

            There was 1 student who scored an excellent rating and had a chance to compete at the county science fair on Saturday, February 16^th at Springfield High School.  That student was Sydney Lau.  She also received and excellent rating at the count contest and was 2 points away from advancing to district.
