The Southeastern Science Fair was held on February 11th after school in the cafeteria.  There were 17 middle school students who participated with projects that ranged from different types of remotes to designs of bridges.  The following students participated: Chase B., Joseph S., Madison C., Laney H., Myah Z., Emma P., Madison W., Lexi L., Charile B., Julia C., Max D., John M., Jason R., Madison N., Renee R., Ben Shuler., and Tyler K.

There were 2 students who scored an excellent rating who may bring their projects next year to the county science fair held at Clark State University.  One student was Ben S. whose project looked at hydrogen batteries.  He tested how much power these types of batteries give and if they are useful in the future. The other was Julia C. whose project studied the effects of different water on potato growth.  It was mainly looking at salt water and how the potato may grow better with this mineral being more accessible.

The project were all very nicely done and were well represented of Southeastern Junior High.
