Miami View Testing Schedule

Dear parents/guardians:

This letter is to inform you of the upcoming assessments:

Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) - grades 3-6

Ohio Achievement Assessment (OAA) - 3rd grade only

Ohio Computer Based Assessment (OCBA) - grades 4-6

The PARCC testing window will begin April 13 to May 15. The PARCC will assess all students in grade 3-6 in Math and all students in grade 4-6 in ELA/English Language.

The OAA is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 for 3rd graders. It will be given during the first two hours and thirty minutes of class time. The OAA has been designed to measure students’ understanding of concepts and skills in reading at the third grade level.

The OCBA testing window will begin May 4 to May 8. The OCBA will assess all 5th grade students in Science and all 4th & 6th grade students in Social Studies.

As always, with any test please make sure that your child gets at least eight hours of sleep and eats breakfast the morning of the test. Also, please make sure that he or she is on time for school; this will help alleviate any anxiety he or she may experience.

If you have any questions about the PARCC, OAA, or OCBA or its administration, please feel free to contact me at 937-462-8364 or via email at
