The Boys Basketball Team will return to the University of Dayton on Friday, where just over a year ago they played one of the greatest basketball games in Southeastern history. Last year, the Trojans came back to force Overtime, and eventually took down Fort Loramie in an epic comeback. This year, the Trojans will face the Cincinnati Christian Cougars, who have averaged 85 points per game in the tournament, but haven't faced an opponent of the Trojans caliber. The game will start at 9:30pm.
This will be a good test for the #4 state-ranked Trojans, who tend to feed off of the energy of the South Charleston community that shows up to support them every week. That is why we are asking everyone to WEAR RED to the game on Friday to show your Trojan Pride. The school will also provide a spirit bus, for High School and Jr. High students who would like a ride to the game. The bus will be stopping for dinner on the way to the game, before showing up to rock the house in support of the Trojans. Students can sign up to ride the spirit bus in the High School office.
The High School Musical (yes, I worded it that way on purpose), that was originally scheduled for Friday night, has been moved to Sunday at 2:00pm. Tickets already purchased for Friday will be good for Sunday; there is no need to exchange tickets. Come and support our very talented Drama Department, as they perform their rendition of Disney's High School Musical.
Lastly, Mr. Bell will be selling pre-sale tickets to the boys basketball game all week. Tickets are $6 if you buy them here, and $7 if you buy at UD. Plus, we get half of the money from the pre-sale tickets, and get nothing if you pay at UD, so support our athletic programs by purchasing your tickets through the pre-sale. Stop by the high school office to purchase your tickets each day during school hours.
