Veterans Memorial Committee

In an effort to show our appreciation for those who have served our country in military service, a group of local residents and representatives of the Southeastern High School Student Council have formed a committee to create a Veterans Memorial for those veterans from the area.

The committee, working through the South Charleston Community Club, will be seeking donations. If anyone is interested in working on this project, they will be welcomed. The Student Council from Southeastern High School has been interested in honoring those individuals who have unselfishly given themselves to the service of their country. These students are creating a series of designs to be presented to the committee.

An account has been set up at the Security National Bank to accept donations toward the memorial. Your deductible donation may be made payable to Community Club Veteran’s Memorial. Along with donations, other fundraisers are being considered by the committee. More details will be forthcoming. If you would like to contribute or be part of the committee, you may contact Leonard Kadel at 937-462-8368.
