OhioMeansJobs Connects School and Students’ Futures

Your child has big dreams. As a parent, you can help him or her start in any grade to see how school connects with future work. OhioMeansJobs K-12 is an exciting online tool that puts this information at your fingertips. The site guides your child through job and career exploration based on interests. It is a no-cost career planning resource that focuses on job opportunities as well as education and training options available in Ohio. You and your child can fill an individualized backpack. The “Explore It” menu includes a profile of your child’s interests, career information, a plan and a budget for education and training, possible occupations, potential salaries, resume and job searches.
