A Message From MV Principal, David Shea

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Miami View! Each day I look forward to seeing all of our students, parents, staff and community members that make up our educational partnership. I feel that Miami View provides outstanding teachers along with a caring support staff. We want everyday to be productive and beneficial for your student.

As partners, I want you to aid us in this educational process. Some of the key ways to achieve this is by ensuring that your child arrives to school each day on time and ready to learn. Asking your child about their school day and helping with homework can have a tremendous impact on their feelings toward school and the next day’s activities.

Feel free to get involved! I want to encourage parents to participate in the Miami View PTA, volunteer in the classroom or chaperone on field trips. Time invested in your child’s education can pay off with a big dividend. Please contact your classroom teacher or the school for more information on how you can get involved.

As we educate with Ohio’s Core Standards in mind, I can assure you that Miami View will continue to put forth a rigorous educational process that challenges its students to achieve at very high levels. We will utilize our past successes to build upon while also looking at possible strategies that can strengthen our current curriculum.

Thank you,

David Shea
